ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB
Entrepreneurship clubs provide an avenue through which learners can acquire skills to cope with life outside school. They always meet once in a week with mentors from different fields, who mentor and skill them. We allow their students to come up with their projects and support them where necessary. It’s important because it broadens a leaner’s thinking capacity.
ORATORS CLUB
VERITAS aims to aims to help students engage in Elocution activities, expand their abilities in Public Speaking, and overcome Stage Consciousness. The focus of this program is on Language Development and Creativity. The curriculum has carefully planned sequences of drama games, role-plays, mime, speeches, and diction exercises through projects on storytelling, news reading, word games and interviews.
MEMORY CLUB:
We often hear students saying “I forget this subject (or) I didn’t remember this answer in examinations “ . At Veritas, We aim to get behind this problem, therefore we carefully structured Memory training program in collaboration with Squadron Leader Jayasimha , who is leading memory training expert in India . At Veritas, we even aim to send our children to Memory championships.
ROBOTICS CLUB
Robotics club is a yearlong robotics program aimed at implementing technology enhanced learning in classrooms. It aims to promote robotics as a tool for application of concepts learnt by students in classrooms. Robotics also provides an opportunity to rediscover and redesign learning by engaging students in an inquiry-based approach to collaborate and be creative in solving open ended robotics challenges. It is best suited for Challenge Based Learning and Problem Based Learning.
CREATIVE WRITING CLUB
The club nurtures a love for language, promotes literary interests& activities on campus and encourages students to analyze both reading and writing perspectives. Creative self-expression, articulation of ideas through word play and creative collaborations that hone students’ confidence make the essence of the club.
SCIENCE CLUB:
Science Club works to promote scientific temper in young minds and provide a platform for them to express and correlate ideas for innovative creation. This is a special club conducted by the science department. Some of the activities that will be included are quizzes, elocution, model making.
DRAMA CLUB
Drama Club aims to foster an appreciation of Theatre arts, basic techniques of voice and body for an actor, improvisational skills, team work and lateral thinking in the students. The club activities incorporate theatre games & exercises, which stress the skills of interaction & coordination. The club also aims to empower the imagination, bolster confidence, improve self-esteem through self-discipline, enhance social skills, value team work, and encourage the appreciation of language.
ABACUS CLUB
Many students find Mathematics very intimidating. Our approach is to make it fun and interesting. Using Abacus students can improve concentration and learning abilities. It fosters fast calculation skills. It sharpens observation and mental visualisation skills. It enhances retention power of brain.
DANCE & MUSIC CLUB
Club fuses performative elements to nurture a love for active expression in the students. Narrative dance-forms, plays and performances are given original interpretations through the club. It also accommodates and cultivates a diverse range of musical tastes.
